BIBLE STUDIES & SMALL GROUPS

WOMEN'S CARE GROUP

This group meets at 7:00 p.m. the first Monday of every month at one of our member's home.  They meet for Bible Study, fellowship and to plan ways they can help others.  They follow up with new church attendees, plan and provide rides to the doctor's, meals for families, a card to say hello, and have even raised money to school children in Africa.  All women are welcome!

THURSDAY NIGHT DINNER & BIBLE STUDY

DUE TO COVID, DINNER IS SUSPENDED.  WE ARE MEETING FOR BIBLE STUDY ONLY VIA ZOOM THURSDAY EVENINGS AT 7:00 P.M.  IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN US, PLEASE CONTACT PASTOR DOM AT dominickapollo@gmail.com TO RECEIVE HIS INVITE EMAIL WITH THE ZOOM ID LINK.

Come enjoy a pizza dinner and then feast on the Word of God.  Dinner is 6:30 - 7:15 p.m.; Bible study 7:15 - 8:30 p.m.  Our pastor, Dominick Apollo, leads the Bible study from September to June.

WOMEN'S TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY

The ladies meet every Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall for a cup of coffee and a snack.  They use this time to catch up and settle in.  Prayer begins at 10:30 with the Bible lesson beginning at 11:00 with Elder Rosie Mingos leading the study.  At 12:00 noon they end the lesson and enjoy a brown bag lunch and bond over warm conversation!  Please keep in mind you need not bring a lunch to be a part of this study.  The Lord always provides.  This is always a special time of learning and fellowship, and we just love new faces!!  This group meets all year round.

WEDNESDAY NOON BIBLE STUDY

The group meets every Wednesday at 12:00 noon at  a local diner to study the Bible, have lunch together and support one another on their journey of faith.  This group, led by Pastor Dominick, enjoys meeting new people so feel free to attend.  Contact Pastor Dominick at the church for that week's location.  This group meets from September to June, and breaks for the summer.

INDIVIDUAL DISCIPLESHIP & MENTORING

Pastor Dominick as well as other leaders of the church have been doing one on one discipleship with congregants.  If you are interested in growing in your faith let him know and he will connect you with a mentor.

PASSION FOR PRAYER

PRAYER PARTNERS

This is a day where the people of God need to stand firm, be strong and fearless.  The only way to fight the good fight is in the power of the Lord.  The only way we can get the power of God is through prayer.  The Prayer Partner Ministry is joining with another FRC friend and committing to pray once a week for each other, for FRC, and for revival.  Contact Amalia Vazquez if you want to be paired up with a prayer partner.

EMERGENCY PRAYER CHAIN

FRC's prayer warriors are always on standby.  Reach out to Pam Teevan in our Church Office in your urgent time of need to activate the prayer chain!  We've had plenty of praise reports over the years.

PASSION TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY

THE RIVER HOMELESS SHELTER

Join FRC the second Sunday of each month at The Second Reformed Church in Hackensack from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. We serve dinner and the promise of hope in Jesus Christ.

NEW BRIDGE MEDICAL CENTER

Join us the third Sunday of each month at New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus at 1:30 p.m.  Pastor Dominick along with FRC's Music Ministry team minister to this blessed crowd in need of healing.  You will leave feeling blessed!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Each year FRC serves as a shoebox drop location for Operation Christmas Child. During collection week we will post our hours of operation with Samaritan's Purses webside and here on our website. See Cheryl Saputo if you are interested in volunteering for this wonderful ministry!

LIGHTHOUSE PREGNANCY RESOURCE CENTER &

ANGEL TREE

We have partnered with the Lighthouse PRC's ministry because we believe in it. They instill hope rather than judgement.  We also support their Angel Tree program.  Each Angel Christmas tag represents a new mother and a request for something she needs for her new child.  See JoAnn Galasso about our ongoing efforts and to find out how you can help!

 ADDITIONAL RESOURCE

If you would like to receive a free copy of their daily devotional from Our Daily Bread, you can sign up for it on their website odb.org, and it will be delivered to your email each morning.
